Sometimes life is not pretty. Sometimes you are forced to realize your story is no fairy tale. Or maybe that is exactly what it is. A life with struggles, with just enough beauty to realize that beauty is truly worth fighting for, and that it must be fought for, it does not come easy.

We have a hero. He assured us that we would struggle in this world, but he has already overcome. The ending is set, there is happily ever after
12My command is this: Love each other as I have loved you. 13Greater love has no one than this, that he lay down his life for his friends

But before the happily ever after is struggle. Jesus laid down his life for us, literally. We have been called to do the same for others, but in a different sense....
